Specification for technical screw threads

  All of our products with screw thread can be customized. Our screw thread standard covers Metric ISO Thread Specifications, PG Thread Specifications, NPT Thread Specifications and British G Thread Specifications. Take the main part of A-type nylon cable gland in the figure below as an example. The specification of the product is divided according to the size of the thread in the lower part of the main body, while the lower part of the main body is the part marked with text.

1.Metric ISO Thread Specifications. The characteristic of metric is that the included angle between threads is 60°and the distance between threads can be customized according to needs.  Metric specifications products begin with the letter "M".

2.PG Thread Specifications. The characteristic of PG is that the angle between threads is 80°and the distance between threads can be customized according to needs. The specifications for PG products begin with the letter "PG".

3.NPT Thread Specifications. The characteristic of NPT is that the angle between threads is 60°and the distance between threads can be customized according to needs. However, the biggest difference from other standards is that the screw teeth of the thread is tilted, which gives it the ability of self-sealing. Specifications for NPT products end with the letter "NPT".

4.British G Thread Specifications. The characteristic of British tooth is that the angle between threads is 55°and the distance between threads can be customized according to needs. The specifications for G products begin with the letter "G".
