      If the installation of stainless steel cable gland is not standardized at the cable connection, the resistance at the cable interface may be increased, resulting in a great waste of electricity, and even cause fire hazards. Therefore, the measurement of cable temperature is the safety guarantee of cable operation. Here are three common cable temperature measurement methods.

1、 Thermocouple temperature measurement

When stainless steel cable gland is used, thermocouple method can be used to measure the temperature of cable. However, it should be noted that the thermocouple transmission signal needs a special compensation line, and the transmission distance should not be too long. For the case of wide distribution of cable glands, this temperature measurement method is not recommended. The transmission line is usually a platinum thermistor use a three-wire transmission mode.
